How Custom Applications WorkA custom application is a computer program that is written especially for your needs. There are three basic types of applications that TREX can create for you. TREX will help you decide which will be the right method for your needs and provide any training needed to utilize their applications. Client Side ScriptsClient side scripts are usually Java or Java Script programs. These programs are small applications that are downloaded to the web page's viewer, or client, and they are actually run on the client's computer. Server Side ScriptsServer side scripts run on the web server. The scripts usually process information posted in online forms and perform some action on those inputs. Local ApplicationsTREX can also create applications that can be loaded onto your computers to automate a process, or pass data between applications or functions. These are usually visual basic or C programs and can interface with your Microsoft Office applications.
